Kidnappers Release Wife Of Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor Emefiele

Margaret Emefiele, the wife of Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele who was kidnapped by heavily armed abductors on Thursday, has been released.  A source close to Mr. Emefiele told our Saharareporters that Mrs. Emefiele who was kidnapped along the Benin-Agbor Road on Thursday alongside four others was released exactly 1 am Nigeria time.

A source close to Mr. Emefiele told our Saharareporters that Mrs. Emefiele who was kidnapped along the Benin-Agbor Road on Thursday alongside four others was released exactly 1 am Nigeria time.
Our source disclosed that the kidnappers who earlier demanded N1.5 billion released Mrs. Emefiele after receiving N80 million ransom.
